Dad's Double Top Secret Dry Rub

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Morton's Salt (Not large grain)
  • 2 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp White Pepper

Instructions

  • Mix the ingredients in a bowl and place in a washed and dried seasoning shaker like the ones commonly found at HEB under the "La Fiesta" brand. Shake a few times and apply to almost any protein prior to pan searing or grilling. The kids have been eating this on their chicken and beef for close to a decade and ask for it regularly! Some recipes on the internet may mention SPOG ( salt pepper onion and garlic ), but Dad's secret is the white pepper. Makes a big difference!
