Lou's Angel Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 cake yeast
  • 1 tbsp lukewarm water
  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar

Instructions

  • Dissolve yeast in water
  • Cut shortening into dry ingredients
  • Add buttermilk and yeast
  • Store in fridge
  • Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes
